Version 2026-08-04 — effective August 4, 2026.
1. Purpose and scope
BodyRelay allows a user to read selected body measurements from their Withings account and attempt to send them to their own Garmin account. These Terms govern access to the service. Acceptance of the Terms is separate from the explicit consent requested to process measurements.
2. Access to the service
The service is available to adults using their own provider accounts and providing accurate information. BodyRelay may limit, refuse, or discontinue access for capacity, security, compliance, or maintenance reasons.
3. Account and security
Users must protect their password, not share their session, and promptly report suspicious access. They must check the result of each synchronization and keep their contact details current. Actions performed through an account are attributable to its user unless fraudulent use is promptly reported and demonstrated.
4. Third-party connections and Garmin risk
Withings and Garmin are independent services governed by their own terms and policies. BodyRelay is not affiliated with Garmin and does not hold an officially supported Garmin integration. BodyRelay does not control the availability of these services, the accuracy of their data, or the stability of their interfaces. Garmin may change, limit, suspend, or remove the access used by BodyRelay, including without notice. Such a decision may temporarily or permanently interrupt synchronization, and BodyRelay cannot guarantee that access will be restored or replaced.
If Garmin becomes unavailable, BodyRelay may suspend or remove the affected feature and will inform users where reasonably possible. This provision does not deprive consumers of mandatory rights. When a paid service is no longer supplied in conformity with the contract, statutory rights to conformity, a price reduction, termination, and reimbursement remain applicable under the conditions provided by law. Users may disconnect a provider from their account; some remote operations may require additional action with that provider.
5. Health data and disclaimer
BodyRelay is a technical data-transfer tool. It is not a medical device or remote patient-monitoring service and provides no diagnosis, clinical score, advice, or medical alert. A missing, delayed, duplicated, or incorrect measurement must never be used alone for a medical decision. Consult a qualified professional about health concerns.
6. Acceptable use
Users must not bypass protections, disrupt or abusively probe the service, access another person’s account, transmit data without authorization, automate excessive requests, extract the service, or use it unlawfully. Users must not present BodyRelay as a medical tool.
7. Intellectual property
BodyRelay and its components are protected. Users receive only a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable right to use the service while their account remains active. Third-party marks and services remain the property of their owners.
8. Availability, maintenance, and results
BodyRelay uses reasonable security and continuity measures but does not guarantee uninterrupted operation, synchronization times, or permanent provider compatibility. Maintenance, limits, interruptions, or defects may occur. A measurement must not be considered transferred until it is confirmed in the destination service.
9. Liability
Each party is responsible for direct damage attributable to it within the limits allowed by law. BodyRelay is not responsible for third-party outages, incorrect source data, user configuration, or use that breaches these Terms. Nothing limits liability where mandatory law prohibits exclusion or limitation.
10. Term, suspension, and termination
The Terms apply from registration until account deletion. Users may export their data and delete their account at any time. BodyRelay may suspend access for abuse, security risk, legal obligations, or breach, with notice where circumstances permit. Data is then handled under the Privacy Policy.
11. Changes to the service and Terms
The service may change or cease. New acceptance is requested before continued use when a material change to the Terms or Privacy Policy takes effect. Purely formal changes may be notified without renewed acceptance.
12. Contact, governing law, and disputes
